What a weekend... full of fun and adventures. The folks from Stockton started with 3 Buses, 2 Type IIIs and a Bug. We had a great cruise to the Kombi Haus, where we meet up with the rest of our gang from Stockton and the Peninsula Chapter. Thanks to Kombi Haus for the great hospitality and a place to crash for the night. We then woke, somewhat refreshed and ready to join the much bigger event... The Niello Ranch Run.
We got to the dealership at 6:45am, and it was already turning out to be a full house. There was a caravan to the Ranch in Lincoln, that was said to have a 5 mile span and approx 400 Volkswagen. The CHP escorted our little excursion with the help of 17 of their finest. Thanks.
We got to the Ranch where there was live music, food, plenty of cars to check out and even swappers, for that cool deal. Type III Steve had an extra special time... winning 3 times in the raffle and scoring himself a new Volkswagen tattoo. We all had an enjoyable time, relaxing and gearing up for the show season. Thanks to everyone that made the weekend memorable.
