1956 Beetle Excavation
On the way home from Busfest in Vallejo, Ross and Jasmine stumbled across a 1956 Beetle rusting away at Dora's ranch. After knocking on several doors and then hoping that Dora would return our call, a deal was made... The 1956 Beetle would be excavated from behind the house and used to help out others that might be in need. So the following weekend, a crew of three, Ross, Steve-o and Type III went on the journey. This beetle sat for 40 plus years in this exact spot, surrounded by abandoned chicken coops, and sheds. Cattle used to walk on the roof of this once beloved beetle. Parts were all around, and a tree even grew through the crest hood. Check out the you-tube footage of the actual excavation.
