Beautiful Valentine's Day. Wonderful weather. Great drive. The only wrinkle in the trip was the fan belt that Ross and Jasmine broke just outside of Stockton on the way down on Saturday. After that it was smooth sailing. Five buses: Damon, Morey, Manny, Kevin and Ross, all at the wheels. Soon, just outside of Manteca, Jason joined the pack. All went according to plan, and in Madera, Justin, Lou, and Eric appeared in the caravan. It wasn't until the top of the Grapevine that Type III Steve appeared out of no where.
O.C.T.O. proved to have warm weather, some deals, and many people enjoying the sights. All in all it was pleasantly fun. A great place to look at early buses, and enjoy the sun against your face. Not leaving until about 3 pm that afternoon put us back in Stockton at 11:30 pm. What a trip. What a Valentine's Day...
