...the history of Old Volks... The club was founded in the winter of 1993 by a group of friends that wanted a club that fit their needs. The goal was a club that was local, active and family orientated. One afternoon Mark Hilling and Roscoe Walker were wrenching on the Dubs, when the inspiration for the club's name came walking by. "Old Man Joe" walked past Roscoe's driveway in Burlingame, stopped and said, "This looks like an Old Volks home," and the rest was history.
With Caravanning, picnics, BBQ's, camping, backroad treks, swap meets and shows, Old Volks members are found worldwide with a home chapter in Stockton, California. Often described as a tight knit family of friends and Volkswagen enthusiasts that share the same passion for any and all things Volkswagens. Going on our 17th year, let's go do some exploring!
